To lose a CL with a whimper is really disappointing, to say the least. Could have played all night and not score.

How was that a whimper? Peppered them all game and were the better side, but just we couldn’t score when it mattered. It was similar for the two cup finals we’ve won, we just could not score. Maybe that is where we need to improve that extra bit next season.

Other than that, this team has been incredible.

The way our great teams and players of the past are blithely dismissed by some in favour of the current crop is laughable.

Everyone is going to have a go at the performance but it wasn't that bad. Their keeper was inspired. If we had played worse and won the same people slating our players would be frothing now. This season will rankle forever. Came up with the Mickey Mouse pair, it's nice to complete the set but those mean nothing to me.
