Yeah this was always going to be our toughest fixture, good side and hostile environment. Doesn't help that we are playing poorly either & have a **** loaf of injuries.

I just hope our travelling fans are safe out there.
The Italian fans and street thugs are terrible and there is zero police protection.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

The official website has an info sheet for travelling fans…Christ… “don’t wear colours, don’t make your own way to the stadium, eat and drink in your hotel only etc etc”. This should get more publicity in the mainstream media, especially after the debacle in Paris.

Safer to be sure and say it each time but I am surprised fans need this warning in Italy. Notorious for using blades.

I was going to write something but I'm just too dejected, can't bear to watch another Milner special.

I don't understand these negative Milner comments....

He is a reserve midfielder, behind (at the very least) Thiago, Fab, Elliott, Henderson, Keita, probably Jones and Carva...so a last resort midfielder.

As a right full back he is behind TAA, Ramsey and Gomez...so a last resort full back.

                          He does his best.

Bearing those facts in mind, what is the concern that means he deserves to be called names?

He will be massively up for it given his performance on Saturday.

I agree, the issue is not Milner, the issue is he is now a first choice midfielder. He wasnt that over the last 2 seasons.
                            Modifying post.

I don't think there are any name callings? He can't even play as a last resort now IMO, Klopp put him at RB against Everton and had to move him ingame to midfield as he was being toasted. When he came on we lost all control. He has been disastrous on the pitch really. I love the guy and would like him involved but we can't afford him near the pitch now.

I know it's a small sample, but per 90 for Milner this season:

                              Possession lost 19.7.
                              Pass accuracy 80%
                              Tackles made 0.8
                              Aerial duel success 37%
                              Ground duel success 29%
Being dribbled past more than any other player in the Premier League as well, 3,8 per 90.
