      Midfield - ****ed

And I just don't get the attack. Salah miles away from goal, in another postcode to Diaz. The days of the classic front 3 linking up and ripping teams apart feels a lifetime ago. Now it's all disjointed and dysfunctional. I worry that the intensity of the previous 4-5 years has taken its toll, mentally and physically. I could go on. Just so many issues.

Aren't we bottom of the league in distance covered and high intensity sprints? Something we've always been 1st or 2nd in?

Add all that to a hangover from last season and Paris, and it feels like a grim state of affairs to me and as a bad loser, I'm struggling to deal with it after all the riches of the past 5 years or so

Having said all that, we'll probably turn in a vintage performance tonight, win, and make me look a cunt. I hope so.
agree with every bit of this

Keep thinking our line ups are ****e these days, including lack of options but surely Gomez at RB against a fearless LW and Matip at the back and pretty much anyone except for Milner in midfield.

I agree with this. But I do also think the team are deliberately not at full tilt yet and have planned the fitness/conditioning around a compressed period. The fact we are only 6 points adrift having been this awful gives me hope.

Top 2 will be us and Citeh and they are very much cachable. Dropped points in 2 games and good teams won't fold like Palace did 2 goals to the good

A defeat won't be the end of the world, but we've got enough of the first team squad playing in order to put up a good performance.

Our defence is getting caught out again and again at the moment. It's painful to watch.

Knife through butter and now it's a penalty.
