He’s got a lovely bit of snide and gnarl to his game as well, he could go on and become a very valuable player for club and country

Needs to work on the end product and then he will be class.

      Tough little cunt too.

His acceleration is very fast and he’s also really strong which allows him to force his way into some really good positions.

His composure/decision making is miles away though. He could be great or could be another Jordan Ibe.

Yeah, he's a great prospect. Reminds me of a more technical Damien Duff. Super direct.

Where did he play? As a winger ar a striker?

I dont think he was particularly prolific scoring at youth levels, was he?

He needs to improve a lot, as there is more to the game than beating a man. Not really seen that much of him though.

Hopefully he will get a chance from the bench this season. Been a while since an attacking player came though the youth team.

Still runs and looks like an angry toddler.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Right winger. His stats aren't too bad for a 17yo. He's definitely got a chance but as has been said he needs to improve which you'd fully expect at this age.

He's already played for 20 mins off the bench for us this season. Unfortunately none of our players passed to him in that time, barstewards.

Nobody was going to displace our front 3 in recent years. Jones probably the only attacker to make a proper breakthrough, even if his position has changed. Wilson, Brewster, even Kent at least got us some decent money in recent years.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Got a bit of the Suarez about him hasn't he? Chasing down lost causes, running the byline, taking players on, using his strength. When that end product develops, he is going to be sensational

I agree. I certainly wasn’t taking the piss. Even above, you can see he takes great positions to break through but didn’t lose the defenders. He doesn’t need to be super rapid to succeed, but if he was he’d be a different animal.

I thought the same tbh, I saw someone else mention a more technical Duff. Duff was v technical but a bit lightweight whereas Doak is tougher and more solid and dribbles like Suarez where it isn’t “pure”
