Indeed, Kenny made a career out of having a big arse - barging defenders out of the way for one of those left foot, cross box curlers into the top corner. He had other attributes, but it was mostly about the arse.
    Really?

      Kenny and Fowler after him.

With their back to goal, nobody could tell what they were going to do next.

The hip-barge that could sunder entire cities.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

If you are referring to the Afcon then maybe

He is still a headless chicken at this stage, his final pass is very erratic. The potential is there but he is still very, very raw. I would keep him in the squad rather than loaning him out, but at this stage he's a possible super sub and nothing more.

I hope he doesn't go on loan

We have europa, carabao but also there looks like loads of games where there will be 17 mins of injury time and someone like him for 5 or 10 of those could be useful against tired defenders when we are chasing an equaliser

Plus, he's only 17. Some other team might break him by flogging him to death

I would be surprised if he went out on loan, as much as a season in the EL isn't great hopefully it will give opportunities to him and a couple of others to get a bit of game time in a strong/near full strength side.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

great point about the new extra time rules. We are looking at an extra 10% of game time, And with the smallest squad in prem there is no way Doak, Morton and Bradley will go on lan I expect them all to get as much game time as they need at 18 years old.

If he only had a little bit more pace he’d be incredible.

He's not exactly slow, but probably better for him long term if he doesn't need to rely on blistering pace to go past players. Hopefully it should leave him less susceptible to picking up injuries and even when he does, his career shouldn't be dependent on whether or not he loses any pace.

I don't think he is. I took it as, if he had Sterling or Owen like pace, we could be talking about a genuine superstar, even at this stage.

                              but he is exceptionally fast?

His entire game is built around his pace.

He needs to work on the other aspects of his game in order to progress.

Is he? Maybe I'm fooled by the wee legs or that he's not a kick and run merchant, but he looks quick, but not lightening quick to me.

To me, he relies on his skill more than blistering pace.
