Bradley had some great, some good and some average games last season - he’s still pretty inexperienced and has got a long way to go IMO. He’s also been pretty honking so far in preseason (but we shouldn’t judge too harshly as it’s only preseason).

I though Ben Doak was sensational.

The kid lights it up - he has destroyed Gvardiol tonight, annihilated him - one of the best defenders in the Premier League.

It was delicious to watch. The confidence and fearlessness of the kid is wonderful.

HeÂ’s a special talent. Already so good at some of the more difficult parts of the game but maybe not the more foundational parts like consistency of decision making.

A lot of comments in here box him as nothing special but he has genuine world class potential. I hope slot seriously considers him because he is also lucky that his age could mean he is around at the perfect time as Salah is winding down.

He’s getting better with the end product. In the 10 games he’s played for Middlesbrough he’s got 3 assists and 1 goal. I’ve watched a few of his games and he’s created plenty of good chances that haven’t been converted as well.

He went past Gvardiol 1 v 1 about 5 times.

He’s an 18 year old and Gvardiol is an £80m defender.

End product was lacking as per but Doak was electric throughout, it wasn’t Messi, but it was a solid showing and deserved MotM.
