Odd signing when we have 4 other players on the forward left position and only Salah the right.

We desperately need to sort the midfield out too. at least two reliable new players are needed right now.

His goals highlight reel is a lot more convincing than Darwin's in terms of pure goal scoring technique.

It might be a case of singing him now or not at all, and so we've decided that we want him anyway long term, so the more pressing need i.e. midfield, will have to wait, if indeed we do wait to address it. There is also the the small detail of who is actually available and within our means that we could bring in right now.

It’s a brilliant signing, he played CM in a three for the Netherlands at the world cup and was outstanding. In fact that’s where he was when he scored the majority of his goals at the tournament. Can be either more advanced in a central three or as a box to box.

Of course, he’s played most of his games for PSV as a winger but I actually think Jürgen might play him in the centre at least some of the time because he’s 6ft 4 and very quick. Also can potentially replace Salah, when he eventually leaves.

He looks built for the pace and physicality of the prem.

Can also play central forward too, so he covers about 4 positions.

Incredible fee too.

He can cover the left sided midfield role, big and strong (beefy) good with both feet.
