Gakpo looks very good on the left, quite direct like Diaz but he feels more connected with the build up if that makes sense.

Definitely looked better from off the left and I’d be happy to give him a run of games there. Diaz infuriates me more often than not.

Our front 3 of late have looked like strangers with little to no interplay. Trying Cody down the left couldn't hurt as he looked decent there.

He’s been the Netherlands best attacker and was excellent against Romania.

Hopefully having slot and his assistant who works with the Dutch team will help get the best out of him consistently.

The only nagging doubt I have is that the euros is probably not as fast or intense as a prem game and I wonder if he’s looking a yard faster at international level because he is or because the avg pace of the game is slower.

That crazy run he had from his own half for example, I think if that’s the prem, someone catches him.

The trouble is we have arguably 3 players in Gakpo, Diaz & Jota who play best from the left & even Nunez likes to drift to the left side.

Our attack needs freshening up. In my mind one of Diaz or Gakpo needs to be moved on. Diaz works relentlessly but end product can be missing, gakpo has spells where he's on it. Toss of a coin which one I guess. I'd probably keep Diaz.

Diaz is older, would for sure fetch a larger fee and we now have a Dutch manager so makes more sense to keep Gakpo.

Yeah I think we’ve enquired about Gordon due to the Diaz rumours personally, plus hoping to get him on the cheap.
