Gakpo looks very good on the left, quite direct like Diaz but he feels more connected with the build up if that makes sense.

Our front 3 of late have looked like strangers with little to no interplay. Trying Cody down the left couldn't hurt as he looked decent there.

He’s been the Netherlands best attacker and was excellent against Romania.
Hopefully having slot and his assistant who works with the Dutch team will help get the best out of him consistently.
The only nagging doubt I have is that the euros is probably not as fast or intense as a prem game and I wonder if he’s looking a yard faster at international level because he is or because the avg pace of the game is slower.
That crazy run he had from his own half for example, I think if that’s the prem, someone catches him.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

Yeah, Bob ****knuckle from Brentford is much quicker than a full international.Originally posted by Corndog View PostHe’s been the Netherlands best attacker and was excellent against Romania.

The trouble is we have arguably 3 players in Gakpo, Diaz & Jota who play best from the left & even Nunez likes to drift to the left side.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostPlay him in his best position and hey presto he looks good - however, I agree that international football is slower and maybe even a lower standard than the PL, for the most partMe, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Our attack needs freshening up. In my mind one of Diaz or Gakpo needs to be moved on. Diaz works relentlessly but end product can be missing, gakpo has spells where he's on it. Toss of a coin which one I guess. I'd probably keep Diaz.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde
