Absolutely agree, was watching the game and even at 2 to 0, thought we were too soft and missing a vinnie Jones type attribute on the field, gave them far too much respect (which they deserved it as they are class, but where was our own tenacious self respect?) all over the park..

He's a kid learning a new position and all of a sudden has become our only glimmer of hope in an absolute train-wreck of a midfield.

One of his first involvements was trying to collect a **** pass from our amazing captain, with two Madrid players breathing down his neck and when he lost the ball then cops a mouthful and a few flappy arms from Horrendouson for not being able to control it.

It wasn't Bajcetic's best game he's played for us but I still thought he was our best midfielder which might tell you what the problem is.

This is the exact point. He made two bad errors that led to goals (all be it one being Alisson's horror moment) but should not be blamed for it at all. The second half was an embarrassment in the middle. Absolutely shocking. Bajcetic was the only one who can get any credit imo.

Real are a very good side of course but the gulf in quality in that half was very indicative of how far we've fallen this year.

It looks like zonal marking, they knew it, and had practiced exactly for that scenario, free man, head the ball shoulder height, higher chance of it going in, less legs in the way and if not a goal/save, higher chance of winning a penalty. Looking at that pic im placing the blame firmly on Gomez. He's not even moving ffs and the ball is literally going where he should be going. To think he just gave away a completely unnecessary foul and then decides to identify as a statue at the corner is criminal.

There was that one and on one of their goals, Rodrigo looked well offside in the buildup but didnt see any lines drawn. Got shown for about 2 seconds and then straight off the screen and that geriatric **** Tyler mumbling something about it being fine.

Think they haven't given that because he was never scoring it anyway plus its Madrid.
