I just can't wrap my head around him. Works so hard and puts the shift in but he lacks real quality on the ball which I really expected from him. For a player that supposedly has a fantastic strike of a ball, he seems very uneasy in front of goal.

I just feel that he can offer a hell of a lot more than just running.

It's very possible but I really did think we were signing a player with real quality & a goal threat. Running and work rate is fantastic but for €60m quid, we need more than that.

From his stats. 3 goals and 2 assists in 24 games (should have been 3 with Nunez’s miss last night) isn’t enough for a player operating as a 10 / 4th forward in a title chasing side

As you’re into fingering players Szob should of had at least 13 goals with the amount of chances he has missed

I’d rather not finger Szob - at least he would have to buy me a drink first

I probably came across as too harsh on him - he brings so much to the team from an out of possession perspective, which we could see when he was out

Just think he has it in his locker to be more effective at the sharp end, as he showed in Leipzig

He had less defensive duties when at Leipzig though. Same as when he plays for his country.

For both those teams his role was a far more attacking one, often at RM or LM, and he had other players slightly deeper than him doing the role he now does for us.

He has kind of become the new Winajdum in some ways. Used to be a wide attacking/attacking midfielder type and now is in more a less eye catching shield/progressor of play type role.

Yep agreed, definitely under Klopp. I think he has a bit more license to go forward and influence the play under Slot, and think he has been a bit disappointing in that context

He has much more in his locker which is the frustration, guy has an increidble strike of a ball and we rarely see it. He is definitely getting forward more under Slot but he doesn't look confident in front of goal. Would love if he start shooting a bit more.
