Becoming an amazing cog for us in the mould of a peak Wijnaldum. Just keeps doing the less flashy, but important, stuff over and over and like Gravenberch is still doing it to the same level towards the end of games.

A comment that could be applied to any of our starting midfield, which is great to be able to say.

Best game he's played in a long time. He is capable to added to his goals and assists and needs to. Those lung bursting runs in behind were reminiscent of when he first got here. All the attributes to be a top player.

Reminds me of Ronnie Whelan galloping around the field back in the day

Loved Ronnie but don’t remember him galloping!

We have to remember that Spurs were genuinely school boy levels of ****e but to borrow from the great Troy Deeney - Szob was a monster, a beast!

Indefatigable, intelligent and infused with a warrior's spirit, definitely my MotM.

Whelan was a monster when on it, gave no-one time on the ball.

Picked Wijnaldum as, like Szobo, he was playing in a wide position and/or the AM position before joining Liverpool.

Then after joining us, his overall game was changed to become a crucial part of what holds the team together. Sort of the water carrier role that rarely gets the glory or high praise, but at the same time is one of the most important roles in the team to get right.

Combo of pace and stamina and the technique with it is lush. Looks effortless when he's in full stride.. that little pass for salah tap in was so elegantly done.

He's very composed in front of goal too. Keeper one on ones you fancy him.

Hopefully a slightly lower intensity this season will keep him fully charged.

Still think our midfield needs a bit more rotation, but they are looking a great little unit. A.younger replacement for Endo and that should be that for the forseeable future.

                        Defence is next.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Really? But he had a one on one, went round the keeper and still missed!

Why 'exceptional' Szoboszlai was key to Liverpool win.
Match of the Day 2's Jason Mohammad and Glenn Murray discuss Dominik Szoboszlai's "absolutely fantastic" performance for Liverpool during their 6-3 win over Tottenham Hotspur.

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I love him and I hate him. He is pure energy but he is also pretty much zero goal threat. Never really feels like he's going to pop up with the winner.

As a number 10 you need the odd goal, and the odd assist. 3 goals and 4 assists in 26 games still isn't enough for me.

I would have backed Elliott to get more than that if he'd been fit this season. He is more likely to get you a winner too, at least it feels that way.

I think it's an area we could improve on in the future personally.

                                Very much the same.

I appreciate his hard work but his numbers for a number ten need to be better.

Elliott had a great run at the end of last season picking up assists and breaking teams down. Definitely needs more minutes. You’d lose Dom’s athleticism but Elliott is better at opening teams up.
