    Being reported on the Beeb. Great news

    Hungary midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai, 25, has reached an agreement in principle to extend his contract at Liverpool, rejecting interest from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. (CaughtOffside)

        This is massive news. The most important midfielder at our club right now and for the future (captain). I still believe he has been reigned in a bit so is only performing at 80%.

          Even with the brain fart moment to gift Barnsley their goal he was head & shoulders the best player on the pitch by some distance.

              He is a great player.

              That said, I don’t think he had a good second half and I think the mistake affected him.

                  Well moving him to RB meant he didn’t see as much of the ball but when he had it he still looked class.

                        fair point - it is ****ing depressing when he gets moved there. He can clearly do a job at RB and it does offer him the opportunity to hit passes, but he’s just not a RB, he can struggle in 1v1’s defensively and that winger was having some joy against him but that’s because it’s just not his position.

                          and we had a RB on the bench that played quite well when he was given a chance...

                            I think he is prone to massively over complicate things.

                            Weve definitely got the potential of squad depth but Arnes lack of trust with some of them is a constant issue.

                              Yeah from back there his passing can be Trentesque at times but yeah he’s wasted so deep.
