Whenever he has come on as a last gasp sub he's just been a very deep dm and been there to snuff out shots or passes.
If you watch any of his Japan games he runs the midfield and can also go box to box a bit more.
Obviously the prem is a faster game, but he has additional abilities that we don't really utilise.

It made no sense to start him in this game.
Slot has done well so far but he is losing me a bit by not resting Grav and giving Endo and Elliott a chance .
