I dont think that he is though.

If Slot isnt comfortable starting him, then its just a wasted position. We need to bring in a replacement/backup for Grav, at which point we dont need Endo, and may as well get rid. Shame as I think he has been underused, but Slot doesnt rate him so there is no point being sentimental. Buy a useable replacement, and then promote a youth player as 3rd choice. I think Bajetic has been decent in Spain so we could see him step up next season.

It feels like he trusts him more. The fact he was regularly used in the closing stages of games to finish the season in some important games shows he’s earned that trust. He might not start many but that role will be massive again next season.
