I think a Klopp's best teams have always been greater thatn the sum of its parts and bringing in energy of Macallister + Sob seems to have had an effect on the team. Or the PED's are back in stock.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostMust say, I’m really enjoying not having to watch Henderson plodding around this season._____________________________________

Klopp was right, Nunez was exceptional in that game against villa.
His pressing, particularly at the start of the game was awesome. His pace is ridiculous and if he keeps it simple with back to goal and focuses on his strengths, he’s going to score bucket loads.
Unlucky today with the two ones off the post.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

Ripping up the off field dynamics of dressing room was a risk, and maybe not one that klopp would necessarily have chosen, but taking out Henderson, Milner, Ox (and maybe Bobby and Naby to some extent) simultaneously must have a big impact to culture of the squad. As well as removing some egos, Virg is the leader now, other players have become senior players over night, there’s probably less inertia and skepticism about changes to the football formula and a bit of a fresh start/new vibe all round. Hendo and Milner were part of the player committee I believe (with Virgil), responsible for discipline, fines etc and everyone probably felt a bit institutionalised after years of that. And not getting shouted at constantly on the pitch by a captain who’s not pulling their weight must be nice. With klopp in change, wholesale changes might be better than incremental ones.Last edited by Kenneth; 03-09-23, 10:07 PM.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

I had to suffer mcmanaman commentating. The entire game he talked up villa. Diaby is an amazing player. Liverpool were allowed to play freely. This and that garbage that I cant recall now. Been a while since I'd heard someone not arsed to even mention our team or give them any props at how they were playing. Was horrid and made me remember why I loathe him.

Yep terrible commentator, like Gus Gould or Steve Roach in the NRL

Haha fat finger Phil, can’t stand him, Gould is the most annoying commentator plus his general takes seem so odd especially nowadays. Add in Joey Johns to the list. It makes me so happy when QLD win SOO and he goes all silent and whinges about everything.Originally posted by SB View Post

Yeah Gould has one of the biggest egos & makes everything about him. I heard last year that Ch9 wasn’t going to renew Joey’s contract, which I was happy about but here he is still living the dream boring the rest of us stupid.Originally posted by peterbread View PostHaha fat finger Phil, can’t stand him, Gould is the most annoying commentator plus his general takes seem so odd especially nowadays.
