‘Jarel Quansah has made an unexpectedly bright start to his Liverpool career. He has not put a foot wrong in the minutes he has had on the pitch. This may end up saving the club a considerable amount of money. We want it placed on the record that this view does not mean he will make it as a future first team regular. That said he has every chance and the contributors at EST1892 would like to wish him the very best of luck’.

Would require paramedics surrounding the pitch and mental health professionals for before and after.

    ...And very selective footage release.

But I’m angling more towards Buzzo at the moment. I think CB in modern football is the hardest position to play and for us even harder. You need to play such a high line and not be exposed , pass and carry the ball, be aerially dominant and great in 1v1 duels. He hasn’t looked out of place and also has the physicality plus temperament based on what is a small sample size.

I don’t know when we’ve had such a talented young CB come through our own ranks tbh. I’m really excited by him but we still need another CB added to the pool

He has looked great in this very small sample size & 40-50m, well it's just preposterous. IMO even though he has been doing well, with our injuries and our injury prone players, we should be looking to get in some defensive cover in this window.

Imo things like what a breakthrough season, he's saving us 30 to 40m, he's worth 40m to 50m after him playing a handful of games is a bit much. I've heard this so many times over the years. Blowing our beans too early.

He's looks talented and let's slowly nurture him but imo we should not be relying on a kid to play a pivotal role in a season when we are challenging for the title. By all means give him mins here and there but we need another defender and him being talented shouldn't stop us from covering our bases and being smart.
    It was a joke FFS!!!!

    Ignore the naysayers, Buzzo.

The kid has been great. Enjoy his performances in the here and now. What he turns out to be in ten games or a hundred games time does not matter in the here and now.

All I know is that every time I see him play he does well and looks a young player that fits into how our team plays rather than one simply filling a space out of necessity.

Something you more or less said with the Phillips/Williams comparison.

To me he is looking very much like Joe Gomez did in his break out season for us. Same age as Joe was that season too.
