Yeah I was broadly agreeing with you

    I think he looks brilliant.

    Who's the new Cafu, Trent?

    Edit: Flanno.

He came on v Newcastle at 0-1 and looked assured given the atmosphere. And he started v Wolves and was arguably our best player. All the other Europa and LC games he has absolutely strolled through. He was also apparently class for the England U21's (with Harvey and Tyler Morton).

I dont think it could be going better. And when you think we were supposed to be in for Collwill at £60m or whatever then this seems to be working out fantastically.

Klopp is really good at bringing players through, getting them involved and immersing them in the 1st team without layering too much pressure on them.

He's already been used in the league. Tough away game away to Wolves directly after IB and he played very well.

I hope we don't have to give him an extended run of games at any time, but if we do, he definitely looks up to it.

The biggest compliment is that he doesn't look remotely out of place in our backline.

Genuinely saving us £30m or £40m in the transfer market.

Yeah he looks class. Very, very composed for a lad playing his first season at this level.

He certainly is. What a step up from preseason where most fans didn’t know his name.

I guess it was a rumour. A replacement for Matip was on the cards, and we have had injury problems there.
