Jones deserved the red. It’s not the 90s, they’re always red, whatever a load of players from the 90s might say about it.

The offside was very dubious, but the ref didn’t flag it. He gave one wrong booking against us (jota’s first), big deal. Far too many people looking for an easy scapegoat rather than addressing what actually happened.

Jones' red is acceptable, Jota got a soft (none) yellow but then followed it up with a stupid tackle. Spurs never looked like scoring against 9 men, and it took an unfortunate og from Joel to lose us the game. Ref didn't do much wrong really, but VAR has shafted us with the Diaz goal.

He played the ball first!!! His foot slid over the top!!! Even a visually impaired person can see that!!!

His foot was high enough to bounce over the ball, it caught the player high on the leg, Jones was not in control at that point and in today's game that is a red. Nobody is disputing that he got the ball first, but that alone doesn't make it a good tackle.
