I think it’s just because I’m feeling less emotional about the game than many others. People were rightly up in arms about the offside, and cross about the first Jota yellow. But we had the same for Salah shouting at the ref and Robbo jumping with his arm. People got increasingly irrationally angry as it went on.Originally posted by Fierce View PostYou can only be on a windupTrey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality must be sanctioned as serious foul play.Really?

Every tackle you make potentially endangers the safety of an opponent. Excessive force is not an absolute measure, it's a judgment call.Originally posted by ric.williams View PostSeeing as no one can be bothered to read the rules:

I don't think that was excessive force in terms of a tackle, it was normal force but the diversion of the foot off the top of the ball made the final effect more serious.
Stop pretending this has strict liability. It's a judgment call.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

if you dont think that challenge could have broken an ankle or leg then i think we should simply agree to disagree?Originally posted by Venton View PostEvery tackle you make potentially endangers the safety of an opponent. Excessive force is not an absolute measure, it's a judgment call.
