I feel I'm going to be using the term 'good process' more often now.

I've seen previous audio. Where the ref says onfield decision is offside and VAR clearly saying VAR decision is player is onside and goal to be given. It was held up as a good example.Originally posted by Norbs View PostHow ****ing convoluted is that process. Could be simplified to
'Linesman flagged for offside, can you confirm please'
'Player was onside, confirm onside. Goal should stand'
'Cheers mate, good process'
Whole thing is mad

There’s no way out of this. LFC suffer a loss of 3 points due to total incompetence. PGMOL/FA will not budge, to the point they have ****ed us over with a 25k fine for the numptey going on a card spree. Appeals have been denied, 2 players out for 1 and 3 games respectively
Skysports and ratboy siding with PGMOL. Trying to make us look like cunts, when all we want is the truth and the facts. ****ing sickening!

Once the ball goes dead, they check. Once it's been restarted it's moved on.ThisOriginally posted by Mark79 View PostThe same scenario could play out while a VAR review is being carried out in play, with next phases. I believe you go back to the corrected decision.
Which in this case would mean 1-0 to us.

The Sky webpage clarifies this.Going back to the footage, the "Oli" is referred to as "PGMOL Hub Ops" and is not the VAR operator. I assume the Ops is short for Operations. In this clip, Solhekol talks about the awareness of the "video operator" knowing what was going on, and the fact that "Oli" the PGMOL Hub 'Operator' had called in to delay the game - I'm assuming Solhekol is wrongly using operator instead of Ops, or Operations. This "Oli" dude can't be part of the VAR deliberations because we don't hear any input from him during the discussion.Originally posted by BootRoom View PostAfter Sky News first aired the footage, Mike Wedderburn spoke to Kaveh Solhekol about it, and he (Solhekol) said the "Oli" was Michael Oliver, which then led to Wedderburn asking if his audio should be released, so Sky must have changed (or corrected) some details.

Oli Kohout is also calling for the game to be delayed, the Replay operator seems to be the only one who hears himOriginally posted by Mr Pink View Post

The "Assistant VAR" bloke seems to think that the right decision has been given initially. No idea what his job is meant to be.
Apologies if this has been posted before, but it matches the audio to the match footage
