    WTF! Haha!

Tbh if a replay should take place it should be at the point of the Diaz goal onwards, with us playing with 10 men. Not that I'd want players playing that many minutes against 11 men.

There is probably an argument for playing the game in full 11 Vs 11, due to a major cock-up and other poor on field decisions (including lack of 2nd yellow for waving an imaginary card).

I suspect though we won't get anything from this whole **** show.

With moderate frequency you hear stories of matches having to be replayed and it is almost always due to a 'technical' refereeing error instead of an incorrect decision.

The incorrect decision is just that but ruling something that is not permitted in the rules whether rightly or wrongly would have a stronger case. For example, do you know in the rules of the game it is impossible to score an own goal directly from a goal kick even if deliberate rather than some weird situation with wind of a miskick. The correct decision would be a corner.

Although that begs the question why did we now get a replay when the ref failed to correctly overrule the 'beach ball' goal. Presumably the answer is they are tosspots who lurch from one inconsistent decision to another

I just think we should have a siege mentality for the rest of the season. ****in right. We've been too nice about this whole thing. If that was ferguson, he'd have given the referees right abuse about that and the pressure on them would have been immense...... Theyd have bottled big decisions after that against his team. We should do the exact same.

The human error comes about because there is seemingly no ****ing formal procedure to state what the situation is, what the requirements is, and what the outcome is.

What kind of **** ****ing system is it if the ref doesn't tell the VAR room what needs to be checked and if they do why is the audio of that being hidden.

To be fair, that is all part of the protocol. But somehow on this occasion each of the on field ref, VAR and assistant VAR all failed to follow it.

I just don't see how you can make an honest error to fail to question, only guess, what you are supposed to be checking. Either that, or the full audio has not been released.

I get that the full match’s audio was never gonna be made public, but I think LFC should have asked for access to it.

There’s still a lot of questions left unanswered from the audio- like at what point does the ref hear about it, etc. I find it very hard to believe that once it went out for a throw, at the end of the clip, that they didn’t talk about it again all game.

What if 5 min later he said “hopefully no one will notice, same as last time” or “hopefully spurs win by 3/4 so the spotlight isn’t on this”. If they had the whole audio and there was something incriminating we’d have a very strong case for a rematch. I imagine the club got an actual audio file, not just a link to the YouTube or whatever- I hope they’ve got someone in to analyze the file to see if there’s been any editing done to it.
                    I don't tip

What a character arc for Goldbridge - he's gone from a hilarious partridge/jenkins-esque caricature to one of the few rival voices who actually talks sense

I feel like he’s just in character for the watch along stuff. He prob knows that 95% of the viewers of that are rival fans, and is prob fine with it. Them going through a bad spell is probably very good for business.

The analysis stuff he does is actually pretty good. Feel like it’s a level above what Neville/carragher offer up every week anyway

I've warmed to him so much that last week I spent half an hour watching a video called 'Driving with Goldbridge' - Goldbridge filming himself driving his car and musing on a series of mundane, everyday issues, nothing to do with football. And it was hilarious
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
