Personally I think Arsenal were maturing nicely but have maybe tinkered too much. I'm expecting us to finish ahead of them. Villa looking good. Brilliant manager in Emery. I wouldn't be surprised to see them top 4.

Arsenal I think have the players, but also have a manager that, imo of course, will revert to Lego Pep mode when under pressure and overthink and over complicate things and that then filters down to his players.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Don't think we've quite got a title race on our hands just yet. I think when we get to the halfway stage the pack will have thinned a little bit, and we will see who is in the "race".

Looking at the fixtures I think it really should be between Arsenal and ourselves to be top at Xmas, with that game on Dec 23rd at Anfield probably settling it.

City won't be far behind and will have a game in hand to go top.

        That's how I read it.

Spurs and Villa should have fallen away by that point and we will have a 3 team title race for the second half of the season.

As with most premier league seasons though, a strong festive period is so important because of the sheer number of games. If the league was a marathon, LFC are positioned well and playing better and better gradually.

Arsenal going out of the league cup will help them v us in the league...... Having a full week to prepare.

That game will be huge. Bear them there and hopefully they will drop points between now and then too (away to villa or at home to Brighton) and they will feel more pressure

We can go ressies on the cup

I see United game has been moved from 12.30 to 8pm by BT (TNT), obviously because they played on Wednesday night. That's the 2nd time this season this has happened. It's fair enough too.

We play away this Wednesday night, then travel to London to play Palace, so when have BT scheduled our game?

I suppose it's just because we're popular, or cops are worried about our fierce rivalry with Palace, or I'm sure there is some logical reason for it...
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

When looking at the potential run of fixtures for Kelleher, I wasn't too worried about United or Arsenal, the Palace one stood out as a potential banana skin.

I suppose the only slight consolation is they play Wed too, albeit two home games b2b.

I'd have taken it if it was a home draw, but travelling to London to play one of the competition favourites in 3rd round is a joke.

I wonder who City will get...

Going into December 14 games and a third of the season done. We are 2 points clear of City having played them away

We’ve had Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton, Spurs and City all away already.

Fair to say we’d have all signed up for that. If we can kick on a bit anything can happen - we can get loads better BUT we are doing really well so far. And City are dropping points for once
