It is a glimmer of light.
It's the first time I've seen them have to put out a relatively weak team, even their bench was poor. They had no creativity, but it won't last for long.

We've got to keep trying to get maximum points now while they are weakened, because I still suspect they will finish the season very strongly.

Saying that, they are no wins in 4 and he only missed one.

But. He is a massive player for them.

No wins from 4 you say? That can't be, I'm sure I had it rammed down my throat many times, that Guardiola, like a champion jockey, holds his team back, then after Nov Internationals, sends them on, destroying everything in their wake.

Cunts must have hit a fence this time.

In all seriousness though, City were always likely to have a dip after a treble winning season, it was what I was pinning all my hopes on for us to have a solid title challenge. They are notoriously slow starters, so there was going to be a chance to steal a march early on before they settled.

But the kind fixtures they were given at the start of season were criminal. First 7 fixtures had 3 promoted teams, Fulham and Wolves, who were in dissaray when fixtures were announced.

Turns out Wolves are a bit better that everyone thought and not totally surprising they inflicted City's first defeat. Likewise, with so many easy fixtures early on, things would have to turn at some stage. Now they have, we're seeing what City are really made of this year.

Things will click eventually, they are too good not to, plus they will continue to get favourable refereeing decisions throughout the season. But right now, similar to us last year, City are playing like a team that had a gruelling season and finding it hard to dig deep when things are going their way. It really is a great opportunity for us take advantage and give ourselves the best possible opportunity going into 2nd half of season.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

We are in a great position at the moment. City dropping points or going through a bad patch is exactly why we shouldn't be rested on our laurels in the Jan transfer window.

Nat Phillips returning from his ropey Celtic loan will probably be the height of our defensive reinforcements in January

With Matip possibly having played his last game for us we should be looking to get in our defensive targets (if we can) this Jan.

Konate and Gomez whilst I rate do like an niggle or two and Quansah is still young and will need to have his minutes managed.

Unfortunately that’s the most likely outcome

We’d be top of the league if it wasn’t for the refereeing cluster**** at spurs.

I try not to stress about the what the ramifications of that game could be this season.

Confident that if we get 3 points against Palace, we'll be top at Christmas.

Just have a bad feeling about this game though. Would be so typical that ****ing Hodgson derails us at such a crucial stage of the season.

If that ends up being decisive in any way come the end of the season

And/Or 2 points ahead if it wasn't for that draw at Luton Town!!...that one is still bugging the **** out of me!
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!
