With the VAR, do they just show the referee the incident (ie handball) or do they then run on play so so he can see for himself if it is one continuous phase of play or not?

Absolute dog**** performance, as is worryingly becoming the norm. We've got out of jail many times this season but the overall performances have been ****e for a while.

Slow, ponderous build up play. Players looking like they don't give a ****. Dozy defending is now back in vogue. And the old family favourite, a complete lack of any idea how to break down a defensive minded team sitting deep.

Tsmikas just punched his ticket back to Greece too. Had a chance to cement his role with Robbo being out for a while and he's looked worse and worse each game. Get rid. We desperately need some pace and width on the left. Klopp's going to stick it out with Gomez now because he's a stubborn cunt.

Salah utterly hopeless again too and Klopp's probably put a huge dent in Doak's confidence hauling him off at HT when he wasn't even that bad.

Endo looks a complete waste of money. Clumsy, slow as **** and for a defensive player his tackling technique is horrendous. A walking card magnet.

What's really worrying is our complete lack of any urgency until we go a goal down. There is zero pace to our play. Players that seemed quick when they joined now seemingly have no pace. Diaz was lightning and now looks like your every day plodder. Salah legs move fast, but he gets swallowed up by the LB every single time now. Szobo was blazing past people when he joined and now looks like he's stuck in mud half the time. Darwin and grav are the only two that seem to run away from people....how long for, who knows! What the **** is going on with our training loads etc.

I'm surprised there's been so much chat about the VAR, which I expect to be ****. I'm much more bothered about our performance and the result. We were garbage.

He gets his tap ins and scores penalties but his overall play has been seriously bad. He's making that January Saudi decision look pretty easy tbh.

I'd like to see Elliott given some freedom on the LW with Nunez and Diaz rather than having to play midfield. I think he'd surprise a few...

He started off the season passing the ball, played some brilliant passes through for Darwin etc - there was like this realisation that he can no longer run past fullbacks and he needs to pass the ball. But that seems to have stopped the past month. He's gone back to trying to do everything himself and just running into fullbacks or running the ball out of play. He's doing my head in.

Why would you want him on the left?

He’s not quick enough for wide forward/winger anyway.
