I found it amusing how Mr Neville stopped commentating after the fourth goal. Don’t think I heard him say a word in stoppage time.

And Curtis Jones has to be first choice in the midfield. He’s vital to everything we do and is flying right now. It’s a shame Endo is off as he’s next pick and the base they build is looking great. But Mac Allister looked good in the short time he was on, his passing range is great. I’d like to see Endo Jones and Mac Allister together.

We had Tyler and Townsend on Optus Sport. Tyler always sounds like he's in mourning.

Think Mac and Jones are our best midfielders (we've missed Mac during his injury) but agree that Endo, Jones and Mac would give us a solid midfield (with Mac playing more forward).

It is undoubtedly a big loss. We have the forwards to cope, but they need to deliver. The narrative (not saying your narrative) that Salah is some kind of issue this season is ****ing mental.

We definitely have the players to cope. When we used to play with no real back up it was an issue. We have 5 front line forwards now.

Well, that's not my view - he's immense - but I think we'll cope without him over January.

Yes, but on an average night we should have had more than 4. More to the point, we should have been able to ease off a lot earlier (as in by the 2nd half) meaning we had to still exert to the end. We were a sucker punch off a bad result, and the lads had to exert for longer than we should have.
