I think the game started too easily for us in terms of keeping possession and we settled into passing around at a walking pace. We’ve not managed to find any penetration really, mainly because the midfield looks devoid of creativity and energy. And Virgil looking wobble has cost us at the back.

It's a combination of the midfield and the forwards. Apart from a couple by Jota they haven't really offered anything. I'm particularly unimpressed with Elliott. He doesn't look good enough to me.

He’s really struggled, but the team isn’t working at all. Bradley looks out of his depth, Macallister is having no impact at all, even Jones is struggling to find a positive pass. Elliott has no space to play in and Jota has had no service at all around the box. It’s a systemic failure more than individuals I think. It looks like we’re a man down all over the pitch.
