I'd almost prefer Amorim too as I know nothing about him so if he failed I wouldn't be as gutted as I would be if Xabi came in and failed.I like to think of this as nuanced pessimism.

Fair point - But then you get Pep G - Did Bayern and City - Unlimited funds and wiped out domestic success as accepted- Only last season got a CL out of Barca.

For me, he's one that took a safe route , but again you can't ague he's backed himself with that cash !
I make no apologies, this is me

like this approach, I'll probably there soon, especially if we don't win the title

He seems less of a risk also. Would be happy with either but if we miss out on Xabi I’d be more than happy with Amorim.
At this stage, I’d rather xabi over anyone even if he wasn’t a former pro with a connection to LFC.

Barring a late disaster this season, what he is doing with Leverkusen is phenomenal.

Yes there were a few good players he inherited and Wirtz is nailed on to be world class but outside of that he’s breaking records and doing something that only the likes of Klopp have been able to do in the last 10 years and by some margin.

I think Alonso would be brilliant.

But if Amorim was the guy, then there could be a brilliant song about him to the tune of "thats amore"

There will be lots of competition, turns out this is the worst timing for Klopp to leave. Bayern and Barca now in the mix, maybe Chelsea and United too.

Besides Xabi, Zerbi and Amorim, who else might be interesting?

Yes, he's supposedly good, I know we wouldn't hire him, but I reckon Gary Oneil's next step will be very interesting.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
