    New Manager for Liverpool 2.0

For speculation away from Jurgen thread.

For me i have no idea who should take over, but the backroom team leaving is a huge void, unless someone is lined up & they are bringing in their own staff?

Hmmm, one season is not a lot to go on & he will one day go to Real i think; so would be a short term manager which isn't ideal

Pep Ljinders favourite according to BetFair, with Xabi second....can't see it being Pep, not with the whole backroom staff being announced as leaving.

Xabi, Frank (Thomas) or Gary O' Neill.

One of those might not be a real choice.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I think Ange Postecoglou might have been a good shout (with him growing up a Red helps) but that isn't gonna happen...

              Xabi for me
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

It's the early list innit, there will always be an 'old boy' on there, but it will never be Gerrard. I hope.

Big Sam will be slurping his tea with some viciousness this morning. Has to be Alonso for me, the stars have aligned!

                          It's not Pep Ljinders.

Think about the comms- if it was him they'd have treated this all differently and focused on the succession of it.

I hope/suspect that the incoming manager has already been agreed.

This feels like picking a new bird whilst your wife is dying, don't want to think about it

Alonso or De Zerbi are the only names that spring to mind. What a challenge.
