Even if they had considered it, I expect even Klopp himself would have told them to not be so ridiculous.
Just going on past experience.. The no.2 is supposed to be able to take over. In theory we don't have an issue with Kelleher taking over from Allison, so why not the manager for a year?

And then if they are not ready to come back get a new manager. The Director of football should be ensuring consistency, so that shouldn't be an issue.

    Yes, I know, tenuous.
    Really?

The other problem is from Klopp's point of view it isn’t a real break if he knows he's coming back, he'd still be thinking about it, about players that would fit the system, watching games to see who is doing well for when he gets back, and if it all goes to **** in a couple of months he's expected to jump back in and sort it. it defeats the whole point of taking a break.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It's time to move on. There is a new era coming up and we need someone with the required energy to make the most of it.

I’m hopeful a return to our old approach to signing players and the other behind the scenes additions will give the new boss the best possible platform, especially with the squad we have, to start strong. We shouldn’t have to make major changes and if we get back to the success rate we had under Edwards previously I’m sure we’ll be in a good position.

Wonder if we're struggling to get our first choice manager in i.e Alonso and Mourinho has been asked to come in as a temporary caretaker manager for a year? Just a theory haha

Any thoughts on Xavi? He did well in his first season considering the mess Barca are in and likes to play the younger players. Not sure what he is really like as a a manger though. Don’t think he’d handle the refs in England though

I wouldn’t want him. Xavi has always come across extremely arrogant.

He lives in a world where he thinks FC Barcelona is above all and nobody can play like them. This is of course absolute nonsense as pep has proved at Bayern and city and even more ignorant when you consider that the clubs famed modern style is based on Ajax’s school of thought.

I’m also not sure he’s got great English.

Can you imagine Mourinho coming in & winning the league in his first year...what would that say to that mess over at the Old Toilet?
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Is that West Ham hold internal talks or West Ham hold talks with Amorim.

So another one we have potentially decided not to follow through on. Wonder what happened as he seemed the most likely especially after Alonso decided to stay.

All the original main targets seem to be not wanted now apart from Alonso who decided to stay put. Are they going to take a big gamble on someone who has a lesser profile. Maybe an Arne Slot instead.

I think it means that West Ham have had internal talks about replacing Moyes but no formal approach has been made to Amorim or his agent

The article says that Amorim has been under consideration, but he's unlikely to be LFC's preferred candidate.
