Klopp has done wonders for this club in his time here. But he is done. He needs a long break, I’ll actually be surprised if he manages club football again, he doesn’t need to.

    Really excited for September tbh.

      Not August?

I'm glad I swerved that one. Klopp should play the youth as a wake up call for our sleep walking first team.

We win tonight (not embarrassing (:haha) but looked flat and devoid of a tactical plan. We d not scored a goal from open play in 4 games I saw? I said it at the time that I was excited to see what a new manager would bring and I stand by that.

I love Klopp but it’s time for him to go
A different approach might help lessen the injuries we always seem to get and maybe less of a fade out at the end of the season.

I was thinking this as well. We've had a relatively small squad over the years which means a lot of going back to the well to get that extra push out of the team. Is it really sustainable?

Was a bit of a throw back to 90s Italian anti football. They were snide as ****. Leaving something in on every tackle. A team of physical specimens that look like they could run for ever. Fair play to them, but I hope they aren’t a sign of what’s to come. Macca in particular looked tiny and slow out there (second half, got some space in the first) and is not a player that would survive well if we were to play against that every week.

Can they bring in team fouls for this constant tactical fouling. The team hits a certain number of fouls and it leads to automatic yellows for the next player committing the foul. Let’s encourage positive football rather than ruining it constantly.

A team 32 points behind the leaders in Serie A is hardly a blueprint for how football is going to evolve.

Fair point. Delivered in typical fashion.

But. They were a throw back, they are a tough watch.

Team needs an overhaul. Nunez, gakpo and salah as a start.

Nah....there's a certain footballing beauty in watching a team play football like that and succeed against, on paper, superior opposition.

                          It's testament to excellent coaching

Yes, like the beauty of watching a komodo dragon follow its poisoned prey around, waiting for it to succumb to all that nasty bacteria.
