I don't see that this is on the manager, it's the fragile mentally of the squad. At 2-0 we were cruising, Konate gives away the penalty and everyone knows as soon as they score it that they will get it back to 2-2. It's as if the players are thinking "Oh **** here we go..." The fans certainly were Leeds and their fans knew we were there for the taking when they got one back. I think if we had managed to hold on once we got 3-2 ahead that could have been a turning point in our season, having suffered adversity come through and still got the win, but this pushes us back to where we were, whatever the opposite of mentality monsters is (mentality mice?)
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

For dropping Salah alone, and effectively showing him the door out, took some balls. On that basis I can put up with him for a few more weeks.

He needs to bench Konate for Gomes.

Gomez will break down if played too much, and then we will be stuck with no option other than Konate. Not getting Guehi, and Leoni getting injured, have properly scuppered us defensively.

Not signing Guehi or another CB was the big mistake, going into the season with just VVD, Konate, an injury prone Gomez and a promising but inexperienced and new to the league Leoni was ****ing madness.

                      Selling Quansah was another mistake.

Let’s have some fun will all the crap going on.

Madrid just lost at home and had two players sent off. They’re now 4 points of Barcelona.

Get rid of both Salah and Slot and bring in Alonso when he’s sacked.

I’m not going to judge any player or manager who’s struggled at Madrid. Plenty have done that but been successful anyway. Plus he’s had his time with Madrid so we won’t have to worry about Madrid coming in for him.

We've done duo management before. Let's gloss over how it went. Id take an Alonso, Gerrard combo as long as they stayed on their lanes.

                              Obviously it wouldn't work.

Real Madrid have a history of re-hiring sacked coaches for a second spell.
                                Toshack, Capello, Ancelotti and others.

Alonso is young enough that if he impresses again elsewhere that they could well come back for him again down the line. And he may see it as unfinished business.
