Same here really, I watched Galatasaray but not really bothering with the league gamesOriginally posted by Bloodraven View PostThe Gala home match was the first I watched since the City match. I can't remember the last time I've not watched this many matches. I just see it as a waste of ****ing time and difficult to justify when balancing family live vs watching absolute wank.
I've made a decision that I won't watch another Premier League match this season and will just watch the cup games.
I'm that fan now

Everyone suggesting Gerrard as an interim- I think they should offer Klopp 10m to 15m to do an interim job til the end of the season. Surely it’d be too much to turn down, for 2 months work. He’d get the fans behind the team, and one things for sure- we wouldn’t be out run and out worked under Klopp, the way we were today and so many times recently.
I’d say it would almost guarantee us a CL spot, and I think we’d have a decent chance at winning either the CL or FA cup.
And best of all, maybe he’d realize what he’s left behind and extend it beyond the summer…I don't tip

Being out run isn't necessarily a problem, you can and should be letting the ball do the work making the opposition do more of the work because they are chasing possession, obviously you still need to be making runs off the ball, our movement has been an issue, and track back which has also been an issue. But it's about the lack of pressing and seeming lack of desire in the side and the slow tempo at which we play. Slot has complained about low block numerous times this season, moving the ball around quickly dragging players out of position and not giving time to get back into shape is the way to beat that, but we do none of that.
Fitness is a massive issue, whether it is in terms of playing too many minutes, players being knackered on 70mins or what. I wonder how much of this is due to what happened in the summer and interruptions to preseason and fitness training etc. Conventional wisdom has been that preseason gets fitness levels up where they need to be and problems with that are never really solved within the season. Exhaustion could somewhat have been alleviated/reduced by better use of the squad. I know the squad is small but we could have given certain players more game time. The other thing we could have done was try to win the game early rather than wasting the first 30mins or even half of games doing **** all. At home if we could have got a couple of goals ahead relatively early on teams would have been beaten, and we could have rested players. Slow starts allow opposition teams to get a foothold into the game and build from there the encouragement we given them allows them to think they have a chance by keeping the game in the balance, we needed to be looking to take games away from them early. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

100% this. The change pays for itself with a run to the CL final and qualifying for next season CL too.Originally posted by Mr Pink View PostEveryone suggesting Gerrard as an interim- I think they should offer Klopp 10m to 15m to do an interim job til the end of the season. It would be a massive insult to Slot though, and it’s that kind of consideration that may lead Klopp to turn a big offer like that down, even if they could make it work contractually. We are here for a good time not a long time....

Firstly, I don't think Klopp would say yes. And secondly, it would be a bad move longer term as the next full time manager would feel Klopp breathing down his neck. We'd look like a club who can't move on from him and that's going to be off-putting for potential candidates. It isn't a realistic suggestion.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Bet Hughes and Edwards are too busy considering their own futures to be overly concerned about a lowly football manager. It’s going to be a wild summer.Originally posted by danperkins View PostCall anyone, call the ghost busters ffs.
