Klopp has said he watches some games, but often doesn't even know when matchdays are and has mostly disconnected from following week to week because he spends most of his time with his family and playing padel.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostI wonder what Klopp makes of all this, he must still watch us every week. I'm not defending Slot here as such but the death of Jota has had a huge impact and you can see in the players body language that their heads have gone. If our heads have gone it zaps all your energy, how can we expect the players to find the energy? If they can't then what hope does the Manager have when trying to implement tactics and work ethic? Zero I'd say.

I’m done with blaming Slot now can’t be bothered. We all know what should happen and every game we lose from now is on the board, this **** show has been going on for months now. To have any chance of getting any further in the Champions League is by sacking Slot now, get it done, get it over with, what are they waiting for? He’s gone in the summer anyway there’s nothing to lose, really piss poor from Hughes and FSG.

Nowadays when I sit down to watch us I literally expect us to lose every game, whereas under Jurgen I used to expect us to win every game regardless of the opposition. I don't think I've ever felt that under any previous Reds manager and I've been supporting Liverpool for 50 plus years.Last edited by Jas; 09-04-26, 09:03 AM.

We are so fragile at the moment, this manager has been done for months now, how obvious it is that he has lost the dressing room. The lads upstairs have been hanging on and hanging on and we've been left with a slow drip of the inevitable. Carragher was spot on about last night, it looked liked a team from the lower leagues playing and there was never any belief from players, manager or fans that we could win there, the premier league champions we zero belief in a Champs league quarter final what a mentality to have. Trying a completely new formation in the toughest fixture in football, is absolutely ridiculous and so so amateur. We are the premier league champions, it's ****ing beggars belief not only the results but the performances this season, insane how Slot is still in a job. Any other club would have got rid months ago but it's been maybe he ll turn it around in the next game, or the next game. He's ****ing done and because we haven't made a change, were done, we've put ourselves under massive pressure to even get a Champs League spot and nobody is surprised.
Arne Slots tactics and setup have killed the spirit of the team and the players in this team. So every single player has been off form this season bar one in Szob? Yeah, as sure as water is wet it's because of the manager that every single player apart from one are playing the worst football of their career. The only way Liverpool stand any chance vs PSG is to either make a change which they won't or for Slot to not interfere at all and let the lads just play and just go for it. Now I don't think they have a snowballs chance in hell, I didn't even before last nights game but at the very least we might see an entertaining performance. It's so clear he genuinely hasn't a clue how to get the best out of the players and in fact he is hampering them the way he sets up. We've had some bad times at LFC during the Woy and end of Rodgers but I've never been so bewildered by a Liverpool team. Surely even the most ardent *interim manager won't make a difference ', surely must concede now.Last edited by danperkins; 09-04-26, 08:19 AM.

I'm genuinely fed up with him now and can't wait for him to go. I still hope we somehow turn it around next week, but if we go out, I want to hear he's been sacked before the Everton game. I don't think we should wait until the end of the season anymore.
I never thought we'd miss out on CL, but with Slot at the helm and comments from Van Dijk suggesting a lack of togetherness, it feels like the players have checked out. It's not far off saying they've downed tools and are picking and choosing when to turn up.
Given all that, I just want him gone now. I've had enough.

Just feels like we are marking time until he gets sacked, after what he did last season he deserved the chance to try and fix the bad spell we had in late 2025, and things got a little better for a while but we are back to a run of awful results and even worse performances. 3 defeats on the bounce now, 4 defeats in the last 6 games. 17 defeats so far this season, 22 in the last 60 games (spanning just over a year). It's not getting any better.
What happened in the summer clearly had an effect on everyone, but it looks like the players have given up and the manager is out of his depth. We are currently in 5th but I doubt anyone has much confidence in us being in that position come the end of the season. Last night's result probably wasn't bad enough for him to lose his job, but very few people would fancy us to go through from here, No one would be surprised if we fail to beat Fulham, Everton are probably rubbing their hands with glee at the thought of playing us because there is no fight in this side and we don't look like we know how to score goals.
This might not be rock bottom but it doesn't feel far off, I don't see the gloom lifting until someone else is in charge of the side

Also more of this cool detachment. ‘The players of Liverpool’ bull****.
He’s effectively given up.
Pathetic.

I just read some of his after match comments and they are awful. It's clear he went into this game expecting defeat. That's really not acceptable as an attitude. We should have gone into tonight's game with the expectation that we could win - not definitely and maybe not even probably, but certainly with the expectation that we could win, because of our quality and effort. Instead he is talking about being in 'survival mode' - not just for this game but for this time of the season. Really? LFC in survival mode in April? That's not an attitude I expect from a manager of this club. Not since Hodgson have I heard anything like that.
