I think the manner of the defeat against City, VVD’s comments and the away fans leaving early have all probably brought the inevitable end early. If they completely drop off again tomorrow and show no fight he’ll be gone.

We won’t finish in the top 5 with that attitude and hopefully someone new can come in short term to give them a good kick up the backsides and get them fighting in those final games.

Really dont see the point of getting rid of him at this stage. Should have been 4 months ago.

I also suspect that us getting a doing tomorrow pulls the trigger sooner.

Another LFC journo saying tomorrow's result could make or break Slot's career. A few are being briefed deliberately now I reckon so I think he'll be gone if we get a hammering tomorrow.

Fake. It cites Indy Kaila, but he only said Slot has offered to step down, if terms can be agreed.

CL football was always a must and defeat against PSG given our form this season seemed likely and an exit closes off one (albeit unlikely) route.

If poor results in these 2 games are what ultimately sees Slot given the sack why not just do it in the international break to give whoever comes in a little time to orientate themselves.

For me the PL games are key and the next 3 in particular as we need to go into that following PL run of games against our rivals with some confidence, momentum and ideally a bit of breathing space.
Seemed likely? I thought it was tomorrow night

Agreed. I was willing to give Slot more time than others. He's one of a very few LFC managers who holds a coveted league title which is a golden pass for me. But seems like his golden pass is expiring through over use. We can't afford, financially or time wise, to become mediocre again.

    Agree to disagree.

And I do not disagree that the coach should get a share of the blame too, it just seems to me that the players for some reason are immune to being called out for their part in certain perfromances
