I might be wrong but it’s a feeling I get.

He has such a typical laid back demeanor it's hard to know. We are used to a mad man sprinting up and down the line, shouting and screaming and wearing with his heart on his sleeve.

Don't think we can say "sack him" without thinking of a replacement.

If klopp was willing, that'd be ****in great. Might make sense to have his proposed replacement on the ticket as well.

My feeling is that they will keep him till the summer and then pull the plug. By then there might be a good few options like Alonso, Tuchel, Naggelsman

That's a squad depth issue, Wirtz was never playing 90 mins, Chiesa Frimpong and Rio were the only 3 possible attacking changes and he brought 2 of them on when it was 1-1, not sure what else he can do sub wise, other than Rio. You can question the wisdom of Gomez for Gakpo at 2-1, but if we win, as we shoildvfrom that podition it's not an issue.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Such a shame, really wanted it to work out for him, but this style of playing is basically sucking every last bit of joy from the game. It’s awful to watch, the tv is on but I’d rather scroll on my phone until something half interesting happens. Sometimes it gets so bad, even the manager wants to be sacked, I think we’re close to, if not already in that territory.

Yeah alot of LFC fans I think are like that. Checked out a bit would be how I describe myself. Even though we are in 4th place, it's been a **** show and it so horrible to watch. With the talent we have, it beggars belief how bad the performances have been, let alone the results and in all honesty, we've been very lucky with alot of those results. Slot come across like he has such a small time, defeatist attitude in interviews aswell, it's not a good look.

The club surely must be in consultation with prospective managers ahead of him getting the boot in readiness to takeover. I really can't see how Slot can remain in charge for much longer, the performances are ****ing dire, such a boring team to watch and that's absolutely not what this football club is about, we're the anti-poon of football at the moment. Depressing as **** lads!

                        Yep

I think we might see out the season and wait til the summer tbh though

He has had almost perfect conditions to coach.

Took over a competitive team and won the league propelled by an all timer season from one of the forwards (easy to forget how many turgid games Salah won for us last season) - and fair play he won the League.

Then he was backed with an unprecedented transfer budget in the summer. Money the best manager we’ve had in the Prem era was told didn’t exist. He managed to convince some generational talents to sign for us. But some of the signings don’t seem to match the system we want to play in… people said Klopp ended up with too much influence - but he seemed to know what he was doing and who we were signing.

                          And then… somehow… he’s ****ed it.

It’s hard to quantify the impact of Jotas death on both the team and Slot as a young manager. It’s a lot to take on.

But the issue for me is that fundamentally the structure and formation look ****. The players have gone from ‘well oiled machine’ to ‘don’t know what we are doing’. If there was one thing you could say at the end of each game that ‘well x looked good’ (be it formation, defence, passing, a new position for a player) etc. But it’s really hard to find a realistic positive. Then Arnes passive personality doesn’t really gel with times like these. At least Klopp used to look ****ing inv loved red faced with veins popping. That had to be motivating. Arne looks like he’s out sipping his morning coffee.

I do think that the massive level of change allied to the unquantifiable mourning period is behind this. But it’s virtually impossible to see Slot fixing this. If he could we’d surely see some green shoots by now.

I just want this season to end right now. Sick of the negative **** tactics that Slot brings to the table, sick of the Salah drama, sick of the Konate contract talk, sick of the Diogo affect on the team & sick of it all basically. Football is meant to be fun but this at the moment is anything but fun. Oh & im sick of the treatment our kids are getting from Slot too. It’s time to update my signature.

Takes some doing. Take a PL winning team. Spend £450m and make the team worse in every possible department. It’s not just Slot, the people above him need to take stock. We kind of sold the lighters to buy the candles, we should not have sold Diaz, Elliott nor Quansah until other players could be transitioned into the team. But not sure if it would have made any difference Slot probably still wouldn’t play them…

imo we are short in a few areas, we need x2 wingers in the summer ( I’d sell Gakpo), Dm, Cm, RB and a CB to balance the team, and we need an experienced manager shap a new exciting period. Unai Emery would be my no1 choice, not having all that ‘it didn’t work at Arsenal’ bollox, they were a different beast then than they are now. Passion is what we need from the boss, he brings it and so much more in bucket fulls, and he can take Morgan Roger’s with him!

He’s been part of the “****ed it” few, there is no doubt about that, I think Slot is a little out of his depth now and everything he touched turned to gold last season whereas it’s turning to piss this season. The more I think about this, the more I’m increasing the % of blame apportioned to Hughes.

The Premier League has been moving towards a bigger and stronger profile of player over the past few seasons with Arsenal at the forefront but we targeted lightweight technical players that at first glance seem to be a bad fit. We bought wide attacking full backs in Kerkez and Frimpong but they both seem to be asked to under lap instead of overlap.

We went into the season with 4 CBs - Ibou by some miracle hasn’t been injured yet, Gomez is Gomez so he’s missed half the games and Leoni is a kid that shouldn’t be more than 5th choice.

We sold Nunez and Diaz who could infuriate you but they worked like demons and are fast….. we didn’t sign anyone to replace Diaz (maybe Wirtz, but we’ve been told we sold him in the vision of bring a 10?) and we didn’t replace the work rate of Nunez. Chiesa (as much as I live him) really isn’t good enough and Slot doesn’t play him + AFCON left us light up top. Gakpo as a starting forward shows how badly we planned that.

Midfield looks ridiculously light as well, it hasn’t been helped by Mac being space jammed but all 4 are being played now an no cover. Endo doesn’t count as he’s another in the not rated category.

I think we’ve a very unbalanced squad and it was a bit arrogant of us to think everyone would settle immediately. We used to say we were “make do FC” under Klopp and even though we spent a fortune we are making do again. The Anfield Wrap lads have picked up on this as well
