I think Kudos is a good player but also think 85m for him might be a bit nuts.

I posted in the transfer channel last summer that I wanted Kudos at LFC, his talent to me was always very clear.

He was only 19/20 yo and 20/21 during those two season though.

Our own Harvey Elliot (to pick someone of comparable ages for a two season run) has 4 league goals from the previous two seasons with run outs in a far better team that creates far more chances.


Olise is only 15 or 16 months older than Elliot, so like Elliot he does look potentially a bit special for his age.


Plus Olise had Hodgson setting up the team he was in for a long period.


Olise puts up real good numbers that suggest his work rate is high too as his tackles, sprints back, interception, block etc numbers are nearly as good as his attacking numbers and he has been showing season on season growth in most departments (again like Elliot)

I think all them years training under the two dinosaurs, Mike Facking Kelly & Roy H might have f@cked up Olise & Eze for the rest of their career. They needed better conditioning as both players are lefties.

I read it somewhere that the lefties need more conditioning & strength training for football, probably The Atlethic or summat.

They have increased risk of getting more muscle injuries due to their quickness / speed at turning/twisting their bodies while running so need specialist conditioning.

I don’t think the reports are true for a second because Newcastle would want a big big fee.
