Gakpo was an interesting one today, I assume he was playing the middle of the front 3, but he seemed to do all his best stuff from the left side
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Thought Alexis should have gone to 6 and Bajetic played as an 8 to help him settle back in to the team. He struggled and the team lost control. But he’s only just back from a long term injury so no criticism of him.

That second goal doesn’t happen most of the time this season as Trent wouldn’t be wide to put that cross in.

Gakpo having a really good finish to the season. Interesting way he played today being central but drifting left a lot. Looks much more comfortable out on the left.

Elliot with a cracker and his assist for Gakpo coming from his effort to win the ball back high up the pitch. Two players closing down to win the ball and we score, haven’t seen enough of that lately.

I don’t think it was looked at. Middle of the first half sometime.

I like Quansah but he does lose his man a bit too often, should have been better for both of their goals. His forward movement was very good though.

If you could Frankenstein Quansah and Konate you’d have the ultimate defender. But in terms of our future back 2 together they could be incredible. Sometimes easy to forget it’s Quansah first season.

The back 4 were ****ed when Endo went off. Shows that we need cover, or ideally strength, in the CDM position.

Imagine if Nunez missed those ones that Salah missed

4 whole pages in this thread and 1 and a half are the usual suspects whinging about Nunez being offside once and missing a decent chance with the last kick of the game that was already over - in a tiny 10 minute cameo

Its boring. The microscopic analysis of his every touch is tedious beyond belief. Our modern day fans are a joke really. Twitter is a cesspool of scummy fair-weather fans and that's bled into here.

And then people wonder why this site is dead and the old guard have left...

Good result & just two matches to go now. I hope we take Wolves apart in Klopps last match in charge.

It’s awful when there’s a lack of respect when posting about our players

                        Yep.

Salah showing no respect for the man that made him a world superstar deserves a ****ing rocket IMO. He was/is a little moany prick when he doesn't get his way.

Imagine the response if everyones favourite punchbag Darwin "Facking Nunez" Nunez had of reacted like that at Klopp

Why keep comparing one of the greatest Liverpool players of all time with Darwin Nunez? Post super aggressively about Salah, go on a one man crusade to defend Nunez to the hilt

Anyway, he’s our most expensive player of all time, he’s our number 9 and has not been very good in the two seasons he’s been here. We have nothing to play for this season, the new manager is decided, and there’s lots of outside speculation about his future here, what other topics should a Liverpool forum be talking about at the moment?

I don't really care what you think Kenneth. I thought that would be pretty obvious by now.

As you say, it's a Liverpool forum, what should we be talking about? Or is it all one-way traffic and anyone with a counter argument to popular (but potentially wrong) opinion or pointing out that some of you are fickle as **** in your analysis of certain players and blatantly ignoring the same errors with others. Case in point to a couple of months ago (yes I was still reading posts on here) Darwin had turned a bit of a corner, he was playing well, everyone that has been bashing the guy for 2 seasons was suddenly patting themselves on the back for sticking by him . A few weeks later with the ENTIRE team playing like ****e and bottling the league, and he's enemy number one again. It's all his fault

I personally think the two of them showing a bit of frustration and disappointment as our season fell away was fine.

There was a desperation to pile onto the issue, in the exact same way you see it happening to Nunez. I’d not be bothered to see that from Nunez to be honest, he must be frustrated also.

I don’t think Darwin is everyone’s favourite punch bag, either. But it’s almost as if he cant even be discussed unless it’s positively. I think there was a period when he was playing well (when you stopped posting) which totally proves this.

If his career has regressed to failed cameos then that also is something for him to work on. He had chances to make people eat their words yesterday - but he didn’t take them.

Taking away the myopic Darwin love perspective, he was getting criticised when he was doing badly, praised when doing well, and criticised again when he went back to doing badly. It’s really that simple.
