We played really well in large parts of that match, albeit aided a bit by Spurs being hapless, but scoring and playing well was really hopeful.

Then we showed why we concede daft goals.

if Nunez could learn to go round the keeper he'd score loads. hopefully new coach and staff can sort it

I think he whacked it against the keeper's chest.

If he's not learned that by now is he capable? He's young but not that young.

Yeah looked totally lost, he’s been out for so long I suppose.

Lost our shape after the first three subs. Bajetic was miles off the pace.

Over all, whilst we could do with being more clinical at times, it’s our lack of DM cover that’s an issue.

Elliot was good in that position links up well.

And Trent not having a free role made us look more structured.

Concentration is weird with us, we start losing 50/50’s and it becomes contagious.

The point Michael Owen made after that amazing Nunez 1 v 1 lob v Brentford away (I think) is looking bang on in retrospect.

Gakpo is looking very good though! Loved his leaping header, we haven't seen that kind of goal for a while.

That game sums up our season. Slow start but got through it, then we got going and looked like we could score plenty and then we just stopped.

If Nunez had any composure we'd be closing in on the title

He's missed so many big chances in tight games this season.

For large parts of the game we were excellent, and Spurs were poor. Subs were understandable but made us significantly weaker. Some great goals and plenty of wasted chances. Weird game overall but pretty fun. And we’re guaranteed third, which is a decent league season all in all.

Gakpo, Elliot and Salah all with a goal and an assist.
