No chance we achieve next season what we have this one, and I don't think we would've won a semi against Madrid or a final against Barcelona. So we are where we are, exit now and concentrate on the league after Sunday

On the bright side, going out of the CL means Everton will now be our last midweek game of the season.

Playing one game a week for the last couple of months of the season is going to give us the luxury of more recovery and preparation for the remaining PL games.

Hopefully that will show in the performances and results and we can close out the title in a bit more style and with a higher points total than if we had the grind of juggling the CL knockout games too.

The players will be gutted obviously, but hopefully they can enjoy the remainder of the PL more now, playing with a schedule that gives them a chance to breath between games.

We're having a long awaited open bus parade for a league title this year. Can't wait. I might even go to Liverpool with my daughter to be part of it. The CL one was epic on TV/online media.

I want Villa to win it so they're on two European Cups, one behind Utd. Same number as Chelsea. They won't admit it but Utd fans must be hating the fact that after 26 years of Ferguson their European 'legacy' is feck all because Villa, Chelsea and Forest could match them at the drop of a hat.
