I've one that expires at the end of this month and you're expected to pay £1.75 a monthto join his Patreon subscription just to see the fixtures.

I cancelled the Patreon sub and now I've been blocked so I doubt I'll be allowed to renew.

Rafa, Hodgson, Rodgers, Kenny, Jurgen....... Last 5 managers and none of them won their first Premier league game.

A win would be a brilliant start for him. Fingers crossed

I think someone made a good point about Bradley starting because he is more defensive but i cant see that happening to be honest. Tsimikas probably will alright though???

          Lineup will be interesting

          Quansah or Konate??

          Gravenberch or Jones???

          Szoboaslai or Elliott???

          Jota or Nunez???

          Gakpo or Diaz???

          I am expecting something like

          Becker

          Trent Konate Virgil Tsimikas

          Gravenberch MacAllister

          Szoboaslai

          Salah Jota Diaz

But if that is the starting line up, then the bench of Robbo, Quansah, Gomez, Jones, Elliott, Nunez and Gakpo is pretty strong going

I think the back five will be the one that started against Sevilla, so

            Alisson
            TAA Quansah VVD Tsimikas

Midfield is more of a quandary, as I think MacAllister is the only nailed on midfield starter. Will he be alongside Ryan, Endo or maybe even Szobo starting deep alongside him. Will Elliot regain his place after not putting a footwrong in pre-season?

            Front 3 will likely be;
            Salah, Jota, Diaz

I see it the same - I think midfield he'll go with Macca - Dom - Grav.

Would start Gomez over Timmy myself. Seems one of Ipswich's main tactics is to use their wingers to press the full backs constantly when off the ball and then if they win the ball back on a flank the winger on the other flank cuts inside almost straight away to give them another attacker at the edge of the 18 yard box.

Think I would prefer the pace and physicality that Gomez can bring to a full back position.

TAA defensively still doesn't fill me with confid3nce, even more so now with his contract issues...Offensively he's brilliant defensively not quite!

Though whether he wants a big pay bump or is putting himself in the shop window for RM, one would have to think it is in his own best interests to work his arse off and put in big performances on a regular basis this season.

Think no matter which way he is leaning with the stay or go thing, there should be plenty to motivate him to be firing on all cylinders this season.

He wants Salah or close to Salah level of wages be it with us or with RM, then he has to show that he can put in the same level of performance (for his position of course) over the course of a season that Salah could at the same age

Not sure about Grav in the 6 - he looked good there against Seville but as they weren’t much of a threat, he didn’t have to do much defensive work.

That’s interesting, you’d think some of them would have won. Didn’t we lose 3-0 away to west brom in Rodger’s first game?

Slot is in a different situation though which should help him with a good start. The others came in and had to pick the team up from a bad position and rebuild the squad. Hopefully Slot taking over a top team that challenged last season means it’s a better start for him than the others.

After watching the whole Utd v Ful game last night, need to wash that 22 man mediocrity taste from my eyes. Let's hope we continue to show our higher calibre football against a similarly weak opponent.
