Ibou claiming he’s ready to go is a bonus but I’d still not take a risk in this one & leave him on the bench.

Yep, play Gomez and Quansah in this one. Whether that is Gomez at CB or RB, I think his performance against BHA warrants a start.
Could also go with Gomez at LB and give Bradley a run at RB.
Have to say we have some serious quality in depth for the back four when everyone is available.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Completely agree that Gomez's performance warrants a start, but I wonder if there needs to be a senior CB on the pitch alongside, whether that's VVD or Konate?Originally posted by Doc_Piptorious View Post

I think Ibou will start. Pretty sure that when he came of the pitch with his hand wrapped in his top, there was spots of blood showing through, so my guess is VVD's studs cut the had and it was just a precautionary check to ascertain if the damage was just superficial or not.
If we are going to rest a member of the defence, maybe it will be Virg or Trent, but with this game being on Tuesday and we next play Saturday at 8, i think we go as strong as possible for both games.

Think it is more a case of Tsimi being in really good form and maybe being a bit underrated by some.
Don't think it should be a case of he is better than a 70% Robertson or whatever. More a case of he is performing well when started and getting more starts as a result of that.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
