    Southampton away Sunday 24th 2pm

Sunday week 2pm after the international break is a strange one for us. We’ve got a total of 16 players away on duty, but that includes some of our loaned out players.

Mo not called up & Harvey Elliot back in training are bonuses for us.

Trent is out for around 2 weeks from memory so may be back in contention for this one.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

They'll be fighting for every yard but this season has shown that they lack quality so on paper at least, we should wipe the floor with them.

If they continue to play out from the back with their possession based football, and it looks like they will, they will offer up quite a few chances through final third turnovers

If we take a couple of these early, it should be a comfortable win - if not, it will be tense again, potentially like Wolves as they will have more of the ball than we would expect from a bottom 3 team

We should smash these soffan cants......

But every point needs to be earned. Hopefully our important players all come back fit

Darwin & Macca playing last but at least it’s a Sunday match. Virg being sent home early is a bonus too.

Robbo & Bradley played full matches so I wonder if Joe & Timmy might get starts here.

It's a 5 day turnaround for both Robbo and Bradley, so hoping that's enough time for Bradley to start if TAA isn't fit enough

Maybe, an either or situation imo.

I thought this was the sat 12:30 game; Sunday is a bonus for sure

The professionally titled thread title tells it all.

Just looking at the internationals and the game against Madrid soon after, team:

                          Kweef's last game
                          TAA Konate VvD Robbo
                          Gravo Jones
                          Salah Gakpo Diaz
                          Darwin
                          One tit for another.

More likely MacAllister in the middle with Jones as the attacking midfielder imo

Mac Allister apparently not great for Argentina the past couple of games. And he does tend to be rusty for LFC the first game back after internationals, no surprise given the travelling involved.

Also he’s a booking away from missing the City game.

This might be one to rotate him.

                              .
