I dont think he has been at his best for a couple of games. Hopefully he will come off the bench play a blindet and then be 110% for City
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Also he’s a booking away from missing the City game.

This might be one to rotate him.
Play him for 45 and get a booking, then sub off at half time. Dark arts

No way you risk Trent in this game off a hammy. Give him another few days until Madrid.

Macca is usually absolute ****e after an international break too. Curtis, Grav and Dom midfield I think

This is the perfect game to give players a rest -

          Kelleher
          Bradley Quansah Gomez Tsimikas
          Morton Endo Jones
          Salah Gakpo Diaz

Yep. Potential banana skin this one, straight after an international break against a team that no one expects to win but will have more well rested players than us. I do think we need to be a bit cute with respect to playing the lads that have travelled the furthest but definitely play the strongest team available which takes that into account. Shame Fede isn't in training, I'd have loved to see him feature in this one.

I’d be gob smacked if that’s what we see. More like this IMO

                Kelleher
                Bradley Quansah VVD Timmy
                Jones Ryan Macca
                Salah Gakpo Diaz

Why not Konate? Is he injured? Out of the next two games Southampton is far more important. We can lose to Madrid and still finish top 8 without worrying about the final two games.

No he’ll probably play but I think we’d be ok without him for Southampton as long as Virg plays.

I think Bradley for Trent is a cert, can see macca being rested and maybe a tweak to the forward line.
I make no apologies, this is me

I'd play Szlob-Grav-Jones in midfield and start with Mo-Nunez-Gakkers in attack. I wouldn't mess with the defence unless there is a specific need to protect a player's fitness.

Szob played 100 mins on Tue (?) night right? Wonder if he needs a break

Hopefully see Elliott on the bench

True, I'd forgot that to be honest. I still might play him ahead of Macca at the moment though, who's both having a bit of a slump in form and just back from another long journey. Szob might have played more minutes but I suspect he'll be more full of running come Sunday.

Yep fair given Macca seems to circumnavigate the globe every international break

Probably too early for Elliott to play 90

I’d prefer to rest Macca too but Szob has been overplayed in the internationals & could really do with a rest. Tyler Moreton would be in with a shout but he played a bit in the 2 U21 matches.
