So much pressure taken off. I don't care if Slot picks Macca and Gravenberch in midfield anymore. Just going to sit back and enjoy the game/weekend.
      One tit for another.

If we can nick a win then it puts us in an almost unassailable position

Yeah Arsenal losing takes the pressure off of us. City still fighting for 4th & CL football.

I wonder how Arsenal losing affects our players mentally? Do they now play with freedom and blow City away, or does a bit of "well a loss here ain't too bad after that" vibe creep in and the intensity dips slightly?

Good question. I guess we’ll find out tomorrow.

Yeah it can go either way can’t it. But surely they all know every point is worth fighting for until it’s mathematically impossible to be caught.

I think that both teams would possibly look at a draw and take it now to be honest

It's another point and gets to 3 allowed losses assuming we maintain a better goal difference!

They wont defend and counter like other teams we have trouble with so I think it'll be more open and suit us. Darwin to score.

I do think this will give us the freedom to play with a little more tempo, intensity and bravery which will be hard for City’s midfield to live with

They will also have seen what happened to Newcastle when they forgot to pack their intensity and courage last weekend

An interesting bit in this article.

For City supporters, after the battles with Arsenal this season, plenty of fans are siding with Liverpool in a ‘lesser of two evils’ situation. That would have been unthinkable even a year ago, but Jurgen Klopp’s departure seems to have softened feelings somewhat.

                          Who would have thought?
                          Oh I don't know.

No Haaland, this really is a huge chance to beat these today. On paper their team is nowhere near ours. Really hope we start well and go at them.

On paper, it's a top quality team, it's on the pitch that it has problems.

Need a bit game from Curtis today.
