We won 2-1 at Anfield at the start of our 'sticky form'. Still won though. We're in a much better place now physically and mentally.
    One tit for another.

Yeah, probably, just having a bit of healthy trepidation

ManUre would certainly walk in the French league. Just like they did against Fulham.

They do have Kvaratskhelia, Dembele and Barcola. We’ll do well to keep a clean sheet. Also, whilst we have had a little rest they will also be rested after two thirds of a season in the French league.
          Never knowingly optimistic

And Haikimi, Joao Neves, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, Donnarumma….. etc. Even though they offloaded some “big names”, they still have some really good players. I think the blueprint we used away to City needs to replicated here. If we get away within a goal of them for the second leg I think we’ve done well

Who plays down the left, and can they put in a decent cross?
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Kvarashvili (spelling), he’s tormented Trent in the past, prefers to cut in and shoot

I think we’ll beat them at theirs but I think we’ll need to score at least a couple to do it. Kvara turned Trent inside out for Napoli so I hope others help out and double-up on him.

He's the one that's really impressed me when I've seen him this season.

I had forgotten about that Georgian fella. If he's settled he's a serious baller with and without the ball.

The Lille defence and midfield is a joke.

They are very strong but have shown to be flaky over the years, we need to work very hard in the first leg and hopefully our defense stands up. If we are within a goal at Anfield I think we go through

Neves is a fine player but Zaire Emery (if fit) looks a real star in midfield

Glad this cyclone of ours isn’t hitting until Thursday night our time so I get to listen to the match before the inevitable power outage.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Looks like a big one, SB - hopefully it’s all fart and no poo, and you & yours are safe and well
