PSG at home 2nd leg Tuesday 11th March at 8pm

Slender lead but a home tie in front of our amazing fans. We surely can’t cough up as much possession as we did in Paris.

    Ali

    Trent Ibou Virg Robbo

    Dom Ryan Macca

    Mo Darwin Diaz

Like I know anything about tactics, but I think our lack of possession, especially before the subs was tactical in Paris as we knew they would have most of it anyway. Of course, it could have gone tits up but we did noticeably improve in the 2nd half and further when the first subs had been made, I thought. I suspect at home we won't cede as much possession because we should start on the front foot.
    Really?

Loads of rumours online that their players think we are ****, and that they’ve faced far tougher teams this season.

Anfield needs to roast them alive.

There were a lot of PSG fans in town already and a few at the game today. A raucous Anfield has a huge impact

Let’s hope they turn up thinking it’s a foregone conclusion & we roast them alive

You feel the team can’t be as bad with the ball this time and keeping possession and getting those little things right this time will make a huge difference. Not losing the ball so deep and being able to then press higher up the pitch and put them under more pressure this time. Should be a fascinating game as I’m sure they’ll come at us.

Gravenberch will rotate out of the starting line up for this one.

              Jones in.

To be fair we were ****. But if they haven't seen any of our other games then the joke will be on them.

I wonder if we'll start with a four man midfield? It seemed to be the answer in the last match.

We looked better up front once Nunez came on so I hope he starts with Mo & Gakpo or Diaz if Gakpo isn’t ready.

They seem to have a fairly handy game yesterday, beat Rennes 4-1 and rested a lot of the mainstays who came on for about half an hour or so.

Apparently they were shocked at how poor we were and feel Arsenal and Bayern have have more complete squads.

Been here before with teams coming to Anfield on a European night. When will they ever learn.

If we continue our low energy approach to this game then we're going to get beaten by PSG.

Such is life. I'm not really bothered about the champions league this season, we're bringing home number 20.
