Squad is not that thin. We just don't use it. I like the idea of always playing your best, but Slot is going to have to adapt to multiple demands.Originally posted by danperkins View PostOne competition too many with that thin of a squad
The good news is, we're going to win the league.Really?

Cramp or a dead leg for sure.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostI reckon Konates injury was cramp.
Trent’s looked bad tho.
I think Trent might have busted some ankle ligaments
On the plus side, I thought Quansah did well at right back."We oil the jaws of the war machine and feed it with our babies."

For large parts of the game we ran rings around their midfield tonight - completely nullified their press. At least until Dom and Alexis went off. I think the difference is the drop off in quality from our first 11 whereas PSG seemed to be able to replace like for like.Originally posted by kemm1 View PostPSG have better full backs, wide players and sticker. As great a season as Salah has had the fact that we are so reliant on him for goals and assists is a major concern. In the games he doesn't score or put a chance on a plate for someone we struggle. Diaz, Jota and Nunez just don't look a regular goal threat. Not sure what has happened to Jota perhaps injuries taking their toll but at the moment he looks way off.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostThere's no one left to do the banning.
I agree. Zero service. Never put the early ball through. Forever taking extra touches and always going to salah. This team is in trouble next season imo.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yeah agree with that. Trent, Macca and Szob going off meant we lost all momentum, we were battering them second half.Originally posted by rudedog View PostFor large parts of the game we ran rings around their midfield tonight - completely nullified their press. Subs were pretty woeful.Modifying post.

I think that's a fair point. Fortunately we won’t have this team next season. As Slots former clubs supporters say. He is good with what he inherits. He is exponentially better with his own signingsOriginally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostThere's no one left to do the banning.
