Ok, I've not done that assessment, but for me the squad needs about £200-300m of investment gross, which I think the club can easily afford with a couple of obvious sales. We'll see I guess.
    Really?

Champions League, Premier League win (assuming) + player sales would provide the majority of the funds I assume?

It's a weird one, we're running away with the league, but we need a total rebuild for next season?
        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

It is weird alright but we do need major surgery to the squad:

          1. the 3 players that are out of contract will need to be either replaced or re-signed
          2. Robertson needs to be replaced. Well hopefully it'll be robbo that is the back up left back and it is actually Tsimikas that is left go
          3. Gomez needs to be replaced. He is made of Styrofoam and we need 4 central defenders
          4. We need a central midfielder. Gravenberch and Macca can't play every game and slot obviously doesn't trust Endo.
          5. We need a proper clinical #9. The player that we thought we were getting when we signed Darwin.

Yup, hopefully we keep Salah and Virgil, particularly the big man.

Do we have any other players that could step up next season like Bradley and Quansah have?

Honestly, can't believe I'm saying it, but maybe it's time to say goodbye to Salah. It's not because of two bad games, it's just incredibly difficult that we can't rotate him or rest him or sub him off.

4-500K a week is huge, I'll be pleased if he signs, but I doubt I'll be devastated if he leaves with another title.

                    I don't think so, no.

THere's some promise with the kids like Nyoni, Danns, Kone-Doherty but they all need a loan spell first i reckon like Bradley had.

Of players on loan that could come back the only one i think that could make the squad could be Doak. Quite a step up for him though.

Even if he gets 20+ goals next season his legs are getting visibly slower and won't do much the season after. Just toooo much money for potentially one more good season.

He's our Robin van Persie. Phenomenal drive to win us a league title but no need to carry on flogging him.

I don't follow the youth teams but I am guessing we are looking mostly at the players who are out on loan, but opportunities for the likes of Morton have been few and far between so not so sure. Probably best options there are Doak and Bajcetic

Silly as it may sound the big question for me is how Slot adapts next season to the English game and the demands of it. Yes I am aware you can say look at where we are in the table etc. But IMO we need to have a bigger block of players that Slot trusts and more rotation to keep people fresh, because like it or not the team is suffering from too many minutes or games in the legs. We need to be trusting squad players like Endo and Elliott for more than 10 mins in games playing them from start sometimes not always going with the strongest 11 in every game because those players are suffering burn out at the moment.

The other big issue is with the forward line for me there are questions about the futures of 5 of our 6 forwards (Salah's contract situation, the futures of Nunez and Jota based on performances, Diaz with his contract but also performances and Chiesa and his lack of game time) I think the latter will probably stay but have no idea about any of the others, as the season goes on I am getting less and less confident about the club offering or Salah signing a new contract.

There are a few other issues in the squad that need addressing (contracts), but also signing another LB and CM.

If Slot isn't going to trust the some of the players we have there are going to need to be even more changes.

I've seen this a lot but its not really true is it.

We "let" him or he decides to leave then he needs replaced.

Lets say we get Gordon instead or of that standard. Conservatively that's £50m and £120/wk. That roughly 320/wk over a five year contract. Salah is on £400k so if that was extended for two years at that, he's only costing £80k more than his replacement for two years.

But what if he doesn't like what he sees in the squad?

Younger legs. Might not get us the same output but he will contribute with fitness for many years. Plus I don't think amortisation works like you mentioned. I'm also not sure but Chelsea seem to have it worked out.
