Everton at home Wednesday 2nd April at 8pm

Time to pick ourselves up & dust ourselves down & get back to chasing the dream. I didn’t see yesterday’s match so I’m hoping there were no fresh injury concerns?

I imagine most of the squad are away on international duties except Trent & Bradley injured, Harvey & Chiesa as they’ve not played but anyone else staying home? Quansah probably too?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Elliott got ****ed up at the end after a tussel with one of their players. Joelinton I think. Much of nothing. Quansah has been selected for International duty.

Much of nothing? That prick coat-hangered him and then stamped on his ankle/achilles. Was a proper ****house act. The ref didnt do a thing about it either like usual. He has a bad one coming that Joelinton, someone needs to nail him early in future games.

I'd go all out to buy him. Exactly the type of character our team needs.

I agree - need a bit of needle in our team to help dealing with the physicality - teams have a blueprint now of how to get on top in midfield against us

Plenty of ****houses out there who are technically top drawer but don't mind throwing their weight around a bit. Not sure Joelinton is good enough technically but would be definitely be interested in Bruno G if the price was reasonable (which it won't be)

You could guarantee that as soon as he came to us referees would start producing cards for his ****housery
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

This will be my first game at Anfield in 15 years - hopefully a nice comfortable stress reducing 3-0 win

PSG looked faster than us all over the park; Newcastle looked bigger/stronger than us all over the park. But they both have a much better set of players than Everton. We just need to be in the mood and set up well.

Joelinton is right up there with Richarlison for me. No thanks.
We are here for a good time not a long time....

Yeah but he'd get red carded if he did it playing for us

Perception is everything when you are caught doing snide behind referees back & get away with it.
I think he just made a rod for his back as other referees & their assistants will be on the lookout for him.

I'm a bit worried tbh, we usually struggle after these breaks and our heads are gone at the moment. Could add a bit to the pressure if we don't win this one. Do Everton have any internationals? They'll probably have nice break to prepare.
