True although they had a man sent off in the first half in last seasons fixture. Everton even taking points in Goodison is annoying. We are a far superior team, the last 2 games against them, they have really put it up to us & won the physical battles & we need to match that. I hope the stadium is bouncing.

Yeah, we can't afford to give Arsenal any hope at all. We need to win these convincingly tonight, finally some proper football!
      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Didn’t they win at anfield in the covid season? Seem to remember them acting like they won the World Cup. But it’s a different story when there’s a crowd in the stadium.
        I don't tip

We beat them 5-2 at Anfield that season (2019/20) and it was a scoreless draw at the shed.

And we beat them 2-0 at Anfield in the 2020/21 season.

Might have been a draw somewhere along the line that they went crazy celebrating

They have an awful record against us in the league at Anfield the past quarter century. Here's to another quarter century of the same

I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Can see us getting a nervy win but a draw wouldn’t be the end of the world

Yeah but I think it would feel like a step in the direction of the inevitable end of the world rather than the actual apocalypse. But that's feelings for you.

Dropped points would give arsenal a glimmer imo.

We have Fulham away at the weekend which would be a tricky one too

Fulham looked like they're season was done.

Really depends what Liverpool turns up tonight, if it’s the one that fannies about playing in slow motion passing from side to side and back again prepare to be disappointed. We need to go at these twunts from the off, show them why we’re top of the league and they are far from it. Drop points tonight and the noise will start. I want to see 100% effort and passion.

I wonder if the break away from the focus on the league and the country and maybe even each other plus a few more days than usual before the first game back will help. You’d also think Anfield at night for a derby the crowd should be up and doing their part to help lift the team.

Yep. Looks like Jones at RB too.
